Hugh has been immersed in cycling both indoors and outdoors and has been a competitive cyclist for years while working in the bicycle industry and co-owns a bike/triathlete shop in Edinburgh. http://www.thetricentre.com

Hugh completed the Norseman in 2010 and regularly competes in triathlons, duathlons and on and off road races. Hugh focuses mainly on strength and endurance and is no. 1 for more cycling specific training, but he also team teaches and  adapts his style to appeal to regular classes for all throughout the week.

Andy Hunter Owner/Instructor

Andy has been a fitness enthusiast all his life, but spent the majority of his early career in the theatre as an actor/puppeteer & is qualified in drama, directing and stagefighting. He has a passion for music and more recently sound technology and loves to create his own blend of uplifting and energetic music for the studio.  Andy has worked on therapeutic services using movement and drama for young people with disabilities and brings new skills and enthusiasm to all those he comes in contact with.  He has played rugby all his life, and is a qualified rugby coach. Andy is a qualified instructor with SPINNING. Andy has concentrated on building a unique type of ride for the Centre with an emphasis on a more holistic approach. Andy works with seniors and is introducing Teen Spin to LifesCycle.

Andy is training for the Caledonian Etape together with a LifesCycle Team this year

Josh Bicknell

Josh’s first exposure to Spinning was in 1996/7 in New Zealand, and he qualified in 2000 and renewed his qualification in 2009. He has been part of the fitness industry for the last 17 years, throughout this time he has run his own personal training business and managed health clubs . Josh is currently a part owner of Time Fitness and Anytime Leisure.

Coming from New Zealand, it is probably no surprise that rugby has played a big part in his past – and was the reason he first arrived in the UK. When he’s not setting up gyms or selling fitness equipment, he can be found being as active as he can. Josh’s classes are suitable for anyone of any fitness level – with music that you will know and hopefully enjoy. He has an eclectic taste in music and tends to throw in the odd curve ball. Although you can expect some nice New Zealand music in every class (Fat Freddies Drop or Pitch Black).
Josh has fun whenever and wherever possible
